Setting carbon ribbon

Use only SATO carbon ribbons.

Use of other than approved carbon ribbons may result in unsatisfactory print quality and/or

damage to the print head and may void your warranty.

Open the side cover.

Push up the purple head lock lever in

the direction of an arrow to open the

thermal head.

Place the carbon ribbon on

the ribbon supply spindle and

push the ribbon roll all the way

to the inside of the printer.

(Confirm winding direction)
